PERSONALITY
- He said himself that he is the most gullible member and his keyword during the LieV was "The kindest kid."
- He is clumsy. He couldn't even locate a treasure box right in front of his eyes.[15] He zones out a lot, so on the final episode of WoollimPICK, he was awarded the "No Thoughts Awad". Not only does he get impersonated, but he is also the common laughing stock within the group. The members dragged him for not doing anything during the game they played on Weekly Idol during the LET ME promotion.

- He lived in Kenosha, Wisconsin for 2 years after graduating elementary school and his English name is Kevin. He has the best English pronunciation in Golden Child, so the After School Club MCs asked him whether he had lived abroad before.
- He has the same birthday as the agency's CEO, Lee Jungyeop.
- He was in charge of speaking English in the SPOTV digital entertainment channel STARK's new talk-variety <STAR WARS>.
- His favorite singers are Kim Dongryul and EXO. Seeing as he wrote "Going to an EXO concert" on his birthday bucket list, he seems to be an EXO-L. He finally met EXO when they overlapped promos during 'Genie'. He was seen giving a flower bouquet to EXO's Baekhyun who won #1 on 181109 Music Bank# and he was seen feeling happy for being a successful fan at a fansign on the same day. Not only that, he uploaded pictures he took with Baekhyun on 181111 Inkigayo on Twitter.
- According to an acquaintance from Hanlim, he was street cast by Fantagio after coming out of the practical test for Hanlim and he went for an audition. From Fantagio, he was transferred to LOEN in 2014. He was there until 2015 before moving to Woollim because the debut in LOEN might be delayed, thus he joined Woollim in 2016.
- He has an aegyo that he's been pushing since pre-debut.# In his early debut days he was in charge of aegyo so his image was that of a guy with a lot of aegyo, but his real personality feels more like a common high school boy. He did this aegyo in 2019 too, but he was teased by the members who asked, "Are you gonna do the same aegyo for 2 years and 3 months?"# Due to the members saying that [the aegyo] is old, he made up a new aegyo called the "East-West-South-North Peek-a-boo", but he didn't get a big reaction for it.
- He was a short track athlete from when he was 5 years old until when he was in 6th grade#, and he has received medals in competitions. He was also the captain of the basketball team in middle school.# #
- For his 2018 birthday bucket list, he wrote that he wanted to win against Kim Jibeom in every aspect, but in Golcha's Holiday part 2 on August 2nd 2018, he disclosed that he officially had not won anything against Jibeom.
- Because of his husky voice, Kim Jibeom does impressions of him whenever he can. Lee Jangjun started it and the other members sometimes do it too, but Kim Jibeom does it overwhelmingly a lot. Jaehyun fights back whenever he's teased, but it ends without him touching [the person teasing him] or just shaking [them] by the shirt. Even if he actually hits, there seems to be no damage done to the person being hit.
- He was completely deceived by Bae Seungmin and Kim Jibeom in episode 3 of Golcha's Holiday. They played a game of chance by eating kimbap made with each of their signature ingredients[16] and apart from the first time, he lost every game. Actually, Bae Seungmin and Kim Jibeom preplanned everything.[17]
- He is Golden Child's picky eater.[18] He doesn't eat seafood and likes bread. On the flight to New York, he even requested bread in exchange for the seafood flight meal. Like TAG, he can't eat blood sausage rice soup and he also doesn't eat entrails. FYI, he used to not eat pork neck, but after a member invited him to eat it, he has started eating it.
- He is the weakest in the team along with TAG. Jangjun said that he is Golden Child's official black hole.
- He is the member with the highest credit card limit.[19]
- When he takes a shower, he has to pump the body wash 7 times at once and was scolded often by the members. However, he said that he needs to have a lot of foams to be satisfied when he showers so he won't fix his habit, so he said he would consider the volume first when buying a body wash.
- He was classmates with The Boyz' Joo Haknyeon, IZ's Hyunjun, SF9's Hwiyoung, CLC's Kwon Eunbin, and UP10TION's Xiao. He took a picture with Hwiyoung, Kwon Eunbin, and Xiao at a music show on the day their promotions overlapped. He was close to Joo Haknyeon since they were trainees at LOEN and commuted to school together. One day, while they were on the way to practice, they ditched practice to go to Lotte World because it was so pretty and they were scolded. Joo Haknyeon, who is from Jeju, said that he would come to Jaehyun's house on days where he wanted some homecooked meal.
