PERSONALITY
- He looks intelligent and cold on the outside, but he's actually clumsy. He trips and makes speech error a lot so the people around him have to take care of him, which is why the gap [between his real self and] when he raps is usually huge.
- According to his members, he got into a lot of trouble and was stubborn when he was a trainee. Because the members took care of him a lot at that time, he now knows the importance of his members better than anyone else.

- Before he joined Woollim, he was in a KeyEast group called I.D[12] with former member Park Jaeseok. There are still I.D fancams up online.

- He is the group's #1 family tree breaker. He's the same-aged as 98liner Bae Seungmin and both are Tiger (zodiac) but he entered high school a year late due to Japanese activities and became friends with 99liner, Tiger (zodiac) Bong Jaehyun, but Jaehyun joined the company late, so they suddenly were in a hyung-dongsaeng relationship overnight. He also became friends with 99liner Kim Jibeom who went to school and graduated with 98liners. The hyung-line (Daeyeol, Y, Jaeseok) told them to organize the family tree according to their year of birth and [TAG and Jibeom] eventually became hyung-dongsaeng. However, the two wanted to be friends in secret but were caught by the hyung-line and they finally settled with a hyung-dongsaeng relationship.
- Not only within the group, his family tree outside is complicated as well.
