PERSONALITY
- Like his nickname 'Big Shot Maknae', he's never left the top rankings in the team. The opponents of Bomin's mutiny are mainly the members a year older than him. His main targets are Bong Jaehyun and Kim Jibeom.
- He was a crybaby and had a lot of aegyo when he was a trainee and during the early days of his debut, but he gradually shows a more mature side of him after becoming an adult and got the mature maknae image. The hyungs were wiping his tears with tissue and consoling him at the end of the first fanmeet and fanclub inauguration ceremony but he didn't show his tears at their first concert and instead consoled the older members who were crying. However, he cried after their elimination from Road To Kingdom when he said that he was happy to laugh and talk with the hyungs after a long time while preparing for their stage, and the hyungs said, "It's been a long time since we've seen Bomin cry," while comforting him. As expected, a maknae will always be a maknae.
- He is Golden Child's representative scaredy-cat. He is scared of bugs and he was scared of touching seafood, as seen on 2017 WoollimPICK and Soomi's Sidedish. Donghyun, his roommate, mentioned that Bomin asked him to sleep together when he experienced sleep paralysis.# Bomin, though, picked Donghyun as a bigger scaredy-cat.
- He is usually quiet and does not talk much but because he is an EoJyaeGol (Anyway, he's Golcha too), he can be seen being talkative in the behind the scenes, their content, etc. He sometimes shows a higher energy that the team's mood maker, Lee Jangjun.

- He was the first Woollim artist born in 2000 to debut.
- He is 7 years younger than the oldest and the leader of the team, Lee Daeyeol, but they are called the "MadMak Brothers". As the members who cry the most, they will bawl towards the end of their fanmeets or inauguration ceremony.
- He was preparing to go to a foreign language high school before becoming a Woollim trainee and he revealed that he was going to study abroad after that. Y said that he was good at studying.
- He auditioned at the suggestion by his uncle who works in the entertainment business and he joined Woollim Entertainment on August 28th 2015 through an audition. He debuted exactly 2 years later on August 28th 2017.#
- He is the youngest in Golden Child but the oldest in his family and he had never been the youngest before he joined the company.
