Pann's Reaction to Golden Child's Episode 4 Stage

Why the heck is Golden Child eliminated...?

I'm seriously not their fan, but I'm a fan of kids from their company, so I look them up... I watched Golcha's stage today and they were f*cking great. Why the heck are they eliminated? I don't understand...... They utilized the sound well, the Paganini concept was good, and the performance was good too. What is the problem......

+) Heok, what the, this is trending...!! Adding a little bit, I've seen the Paganini musical, so I think it was possible that this stage could've approached it bigger... I think we could see the story in general on stage. It's like Paganini's life. He got no recognition from other people, and it's like a, "Even if people badmouth my music, I will focus on my music"? kind of feeling, and I could see that, so it was really close...

Just in case you don't know, I'll post a proof (of not being a fan)!

[+128 | -6] But for me, after watching today's episode, I feel like it's useless to keep doing this show....They're not stages that everyone want to really do and they just do them for the competition. I'd rather my bias group have a stage that they can enjoy and I hope they quickly leave the show

[+97 | -16] I'm a fan of another group that doesn't appear in Road to Kingdom and really subjectively, I think Golcha stood out the most with their last stage and this stage. Their live singing and musicality, stage composition, choreography, everything...

[+91 | -1] I really loved it. It was a stage filled with the skills that only the members have. It was crazy how they personally played violin

[+70 | -0] Seeing as RTK has the elimination system, it seems that everyone was obsessed over the ranking. They did fancy and intense performance, used a lot of props and dancers, so no stage was memorable except for the last performer's.. If there had been no elimination like Queendom, I think everyone can show various types of stages, so it's really unfortunate. Golcha was good enough too, but the other teams were excessive with their props and going glamorous, so they seemed weaker and they got low ranksㅠ Mnet, just quit with the competitions

[+64 | -1] No, I really don't understand why the contestants vote for each other in the first place

[+52 | -2] I don't have any bias in RTK, but just, when I watch the competition for the first time, everyone but Pentagon and Golcha had fancy and grand performances. But when I watch them again, when you think of the live singing and song choice that matches the "My Song" theme, Golcha and Pentagon were better.

[+41 | -1] This stage was relatively a bit unfortunate than their last stage, but it's not to the point that they would be eliminated. First of all, I was speechless when T.O.P ranked 5th

[+37 | -0] Please read this story interpretation of Golcha's stage from a non-fan..

(I'm a muggle but I saw the comment saying that they lack storytelling, so I'm writing this down.. First, they arranged a white violin on the main stage, the frames on top of that and a few normal violins. The duplicate white violin was shot and you see in the way they deck the ending, they are significantly symbolic. At the dance intro, they end by jumping and reaching up. If you watch from the front, I think it was intended to look like as if the tip of the hand is reaching for the white violin. Next, the vocal starts and at this time, the white violin is in Joochan's hand. Then at 1:18, the orchestra version begins for real. Starting from 1:36, the beginning part of Niccolo Paganini's Caprice No. 24 is mixed in. FYI, this is a piece that is famous for being difficult to play. And Paganini was a genius, his musical talent is even described as 'selling his soul to the devil', but he was crazy about music, practicing for more than 10 hours every day and he was said to be always eager to climb to a higher stage of musicality. Now back to the stage again, Joochan starts playing Paganini's piece. At the end, they were shot from above so we almost couldn't see it, but around 4:19, Joochan's hand is reaching for the white violin, in the same manner as the intro. If you take into account them choosing Paganini to play on a violin and reaching for the white violin at the start and at the end, the white violin symbolizes 'the perfect musicality' as well as 'a high stage of musicality'. Substitute this to the preceding situations. Joochan holding the white violin in the beginning is him in the eyes of the public being seen as a musician with near perfect musical talent and skills. In the scene where Joochan is absorbed in playing Paganini's piece, the violin in his hand is a normal violin, indicating that he feels that his musicality is not perfect. He feels that his musicality is lacking even though it is enough, and he expresses his thirst for a perfect music with the movement of reaching towards the white violin. It's too long so I couldn't write everything, but if you focus on the lyrics too, everything lined up perfectly that I got goosebumps. Therefore, in conclusion, their storytelling was not lacking. It was metaphorical and embedded very well into the stage. The story was enough.)

[+34 | -0] Honestly, me too. At first I was like, "This is a competition, why don't they do something glamorousㅜㅜ?" but I like that they didn't. I think they're going for their own style

What is up with Golcha's stage

Why does Golcha's stage have nothing but the violin as props and the members' own bodies???

--

[+52 | -3] They didn't have a big performance, but the members did their best, so I think Golcha's skills stood out more. I think their vocals were the best

[+51 | -7] Personally, I think they're the top among the 7 teams when it comes to live singing. The lyrics are accurate and you can clearly hear them

[+48 | -3] Am I the only one who likes it when the kids don't do glamorous things? It was a very Golden Child stage

[+33 | -1] I definitely want them to get #1 because it was a stage that was only filled with the members

[+29 | -1] Other teams did magnificent performances but Golcha sang magnificently. I think it can't be helped because visually stimulating performances work better for competition programs. I think they're the top when it comes to skills. It's really too bad that they're eliminated

[+28 | -1] It's random, but I think Golden Child f*cking suits luxurious, elegant, languid sexy [concept]

[+26 | -0] I wanted to give them #1 because the theme was "My Song". Golcha chose the song because it was a meaningful song that got them their first win and the stage focused on "My Song", so the song stood out. Some of the other teams picked concepts that didn't match the song at all so I was like, "Eng??" Feels like they chose the song that had the closest vibe to which performance they wanted to do? It wasn't "My Song" but "My Performance" then....

Golden Child is also definitely from Woollim

I'm a fan of another group and I can proof it. Woollim is, how should I say it? Woollim has its own soul. Ah, of course, they can't do their job, yes yes, but I think the Woollim kids definitely have good skills

I watch Road to Kingdom and knowing that there is an elimination system, most of them are trying to show excessive performance only with the thought that they shouldn't be eliminated, so they don't match the theme of My Song and I was wondering what the meaning behind the stages were, but Golden Child wants to stand out in the competition, rather than this kind of fanciness, their own natural style was emphasized. Personally, I think that's the best. But no matter how much Woollim tries, it's too much;; The kids' skills did all the work

I think for skills, they're in the top 3, and I felt it with Woollim, but even when they don't know about other things, it seems that they really don't invest in their stages

People are saying that their elimination is confirmed, and my heart does hurt, but through this opportunity, I hope they come back with a good song filled with the energy that they would use in this competition and be more successful. Golden Child, I'll support you!!! Definitely win #1 on MCD and present a f*ck you to Mnet

Mnet has always been a f*cker, so don't be hurt and you need to just skip them. They have no fairness and they don't even have a good relationship with my bias group's agency. I hope our favorite artists will come out and do well enough to hurt Mnet's stomach than to be treated like this

+Actually, I started watching the show because Jangjunie is so cute and I fell for the others because they're funny, but I'm not going to watch anymoreㅋ It's no fun. Why would I watch it?

[+33 | -0] It was like that during the 1st round and 2nd round. The feeling of trying to do their own music? was really strong. Since this is a competition program, the impact can certainly drop, but still, Golcha's stages are always something fresh and new. Seriously, I hope many many people will know about them. The kids are also really gentle, their skills are good, and the team atmosphere is also nice. Golcha, let's be successful

[+31 | -0] As a fan of Woollim for 10 years, I fuuuuu*king hate Woollim, but how do they pick the kids so well
∟ [+6 | -0] Jungyeop-ah, don't just buy and wear Gucci, let's invest and do your job

[+22 | -0] I heard the kids were all involved in choreographing and planning for this stage~ Woollim, use the money when you canㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ

[+11 | -0] Isn't it perfect if Woollim just do their job?? Woollim-ah, let's spend a bit^^

[+9 | -0] I'm also a fan of another group but Golcha is likable to me

+) Review of Golden Child's RTK stage today

(This post mainly talks about financial capital/investment)

This is a review of Golden Child's stage from a Goldenness

First of all, a preview of the evaluation is that their skills are of f*cking highest class, their outfits were high class, and Woollim is of the f*cking lowest class
Should I say that it's an elegant and beautiful stage that emphasized Golden Child's unique color and only Golcha can do it? It has the Woollim vibe and because it's Woollim's vibe, I think only Golcha can express that vibe

Also, don't Woollim have any money? Don't they use it?
If they had no money, please, just do what the fans are asking you to. You don't even accept bribes

But it's kinda unfortunate that it feels like this competition program has become more about capitalism and less about skills or the freshness of a stage... Everyone has outstanding skills, so I thought the ranks would be divided based on their stage personalities.

Of course, you can also call capital/investment an ability, but I personally was anticipating a variety of stage with personalities. But because of the rankings, everyone went too dark and I think they showcase stages only to win the competition rather than show stages where we can see 100% of everyone's personality, so that was unfortunate...

----------------------------------------------------------

I'll write it long from here onward

Honestly, while it was subtle, I felt confused, sad, thankful, and wanted to cry as well....ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Thousands of mixed feelings...

I was even sadder after seeing the tweet that Joochanie posted... It was the best stage for me, but it seems like my kids were upset because of the number that the others gave them

First of all, I honestly liked it even though it wasn't too crazy. A lot.
The 1st round was good, but it was a cover. The 2nd round was about our song, so I was looking forward to it more. Even among fans, honestly, even though we don't agree that they got that low of a rank, it feels like we understand why that rank came out.

But the rank doesn't mean that our kids' skills or stage was lacking, but because the problem is their capital, so they got a low rank...?

When I originally watched the stage, I got goosebumps a few times? I experienced that too for other idols' stages, and our stage too. Also, when I got goosebumps, that stage has always been well-received and received acknowledgements. I got goosebumps watching this stage too at some parts...

Honestly, those who are here after watching our kids' full cam, you'll get the answer right away...? The orchestra sound is heard way better in the full cam than the broadcast version, you can clearly see the members' movements in between, and I think that the reason why the kids got that rank is because of their capital.

Compared to other groups, they really didn't use their money and as a matter of fact, I only saw the members and violins on stage and that's it... But this is the agency's problem. It's not that our kids don't have skills, and I'm really so upset reading posts bashing the kids' skills. They said that they knew why they ranked 7th. I think it was due to the capital that the stage quality ended up not showing our kids' skills, so I hate Woollim...But then again, I've always hated Woollim

If you watch RTK, it's good that there are many people who became interested in Golcha and many are thankful that they know that our kids are fun and they do well, but on the other hand, I'm afraid that the label of them being eliminated because of their skills, even though it's not true, will be attached to their name, and I got upset so I wrote this post

Even though we can't see our Golcha on RTK anymore, please don't forget about them and anticipate their next comeback!!! Thank you

+)Whoa, those who are saying that [Woollim] chose to use their money on the wrong thing is exactly right...  Why on earth is this situation even...ㅠ It's also frustrating for me to be so obsessed with Woollim's orchestra that sometimes swears come out, but I like that orchestra so much so I liked yesterday's stage better (because of it)... It is too bad, but the song is being released today, so I'll work hard in listening to it and we can grow in our own way!

--

[+54 | -0] More than them not using their money, I think they chose the wrong thing to spend on. The other teams are all about the performance, but Golcha cast real orchestra, but it was covered. I think if there was an audience evaluation, they would rank higher. Their sound would crush

[+47 | -0] They were like that in the 1st and 2nd round. More than doing something fancy, they would match with the theme of the competition. They grab the concept and it feels like they're doing their own music, so it's fresh and new and I liked that, so when I heard that there were rumors that they would be eliminated, I was so sad. Actually, compared to the other teams today, the stage fell short in impact, but it emphasized the vibe of the original song well, so it fit the "My Song" theme well and I liked that. When you always watch their performances, they're not too excessive and too small, so they're easy to watch. Their vocals were strong and their knife-like dance was precise, so their stages were very neat. I think this show becomes a chance for them to grow more and I hope Golcha will be more successful through this opportunity. Um, just, I just hope that the kids won't be too discouraged. Personally, I think compared to the performances shown on RTK so far, I think they're one of the teams that became underestimated. I hope they will be known by the public by releasing songs according to their own beliefs in the future as well

[+36 | -0] I knew what Woollim was trying to do. Yeah, Woollim-ah, your idols are doing really well. I know that they're incredible and just shining kids themselves. They're idols with good skills that are good enough to take over the stage with orchestra. But if you were going to put them on a competition show, you should do your own research too, okay? Use your head to match with your aim. Isn't that why they have an agency? We all know of your pride. Orchestra! Live band! I love those too. But if you think about the kids, you'll put more thought into it, spend on them, support them hard too. Euhyoo euhyoo, I have such a love-hate with Woollim. Seeing what Mnet is doing, it is good to drop fast, but please do better next time so the kids won't get hurt and sad~~~Also, honestly, it's not that Golcha's stage has no impact. How is playing violin while doing a stage easy? I think they showed more than an idol performance. Thank you very much for showing us this kind of stage, and let's walk only on a golden path, Golden Child

[+19 | -0] It's really unfortunate that they got eliminated, but I think many people got to know that Golcha is a talented group, so that makes me feel betterㅠㅠㅠ Also, I feel that the kids practiced a lot during their long hiatus, so it's touchingㅠㅠ I hope the kids won't be discouraged after being eliminatedㅠㅠ Our Golcha is [a group of] talented kids, so they'll surely fly higher!!

[+18 | -0] But strings.. Casting an orchestra is expensive... It's not that Woollim is not spending on them

[+17 | -0] It's my personal opinion, if there was an on-site audience voting, I think they would've fallen for the orchestra. Honestly, it's not easy to see orchestra in idol stages, and once someone has listened to orchestra in real life, they won't forget the taste of it. It's especially more when it's that kind of intense sound. If they had spent more on the stage to have the vibe of a crazy musician, I think the on-site voting would eat it up. It's a bit unfortunate
